Aachen is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. This city is at the point where Germany borders on Belgium and the Netherlands. I have been staying here since this year January.

The Thalys high-speed train connects Aachen with Brussels and Paris. You can get the price as low as €25, but make sure you do the booking at least 2 months before. There are also hourly local trains from Liege.

The nearest large airports are Düsseldorf and Cologne-Bonn. Both airport can be reached by train via Düsseldorf resp. Cologne central station. The trains from Cologne and Düsseldorf run every half an hour; express trains (Regional Express) take about an hour and local trains (Regional Bahn) take 90 minutes. Cologne is Germany's fourth-largest city after Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, and is the largest city both in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Area.

For travellers in group (less than 5) you can get a special offer called NRW train ticket from DB to travel within Dusseldorf, Aachen, Colgone (famous cities) in one day.

Little Vivien

I have been planning to this chocolate museum for quite sometime. Finally, make up my mind during this cloudy Sunday.

Saw this little girl during my tea time inside the chocolate museum. She was so into her cup of apple juice given by her mum. She is so lovely…little Vivien is her name by the way…:D
